MY STORY

Hi, I'm Pippa, and like many new small businesses, my story started during the Covid pandemic of 2020.

Once the house had been decluttered to within an inch of its life, boredom began to set in. One afternoon I came across a box of craft things my daughter had used to make a scrapbook and suddenly I was sat making our names out of scrabble tiles and rearranging them to fit inside an Ikea frame. That family frame that I made for me (still hangs proudly on my wall) led to frames for family and friends and my first Etsy shop Designs by Pippa.

Frames turned into cards, cards turned into customising homeware and homeware turned into bags....and it was bags that I loved making the most. I love playing with words and experimenting with different fonts. You'll quite often find me lost in my own little world of fonts trying to decide which I like best because they're all my favourites! There's something really exciting about taking a plain bag and turning it into a fun and often personalised gift.

In January 2022 I took the plunge, held a clearance sale on anything that wasn't a bag, renamed my store, changed all my social media and.....The Little Bag Co was born!

And now we're in January 2024 and things are changing again!

The Little Bag Co has had great success, but over the past two years I've been evolving. I've always loved customised requests, I've not always shouted about them but I love it when a customer asks 'can you do this?' and do you know what.... Yes I can!

Over the past 12 months I've not just personalised bags, I've added personalised designs and company logos to bags, t-shirts, hoodies, pyjamas and even signage / banners. I'm beyond proud of everything The Little Bag Co has achieved but it's time to incorporate and shout about all the other things I can do too.

So here we are, kicking off a new year with a new name, that I love, and feel is all inclusive of everything that I can offer.
